How to check and pay traffic E-Challan online?
E-Challan is an electronic traffic violation Ticket system which is recently launched by Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) in the city of Lahore in collaboration with the City Traffic Police. The project has received a welcoming response from the citizen of Lahore.
The system uses most advance Automatic Vehicle Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) to identify the violators of the traffic rules. The system is installed across different roads of the city. The violators receive E-Challan on the addresses which are registered against their vehicle IDs. The E-Challan contains information regarding how the driver violated the traffic rules. The picture of the vehicle is also posted on the Challan paper.

How to check E-Challan online:
- First, visit the PSCA website and check your traffic violation status online.
- After the PSCA website is open, you will notice two blocks which will appear in front of you, one will be for your vehicle number and the other for your CNIC.
- In these blocks, you will enter the detail of your vehicle registration and CNIC number to check if you have been charged with a fine or not. You also have the option of printing the E-Challan document.
How to pay your E-Challan:
You can pay your E-Challan through two ways which are mentioned below.
- The first method to pay your challan is to manually download and printing the E-Challan document from the PSCA website and submit the required amount in National Bank of Punjab (NBP).
- The second method to pay your challan is to use NBP’s ATM machines.
The PSCA is in the process of developing a mobile app which will help citizen to check and pay their E-challans without leaving the comfort of their house.
The Electronic Ticketing Center (ETC) of Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has been a success as it has issued over 75,000 e-challans since the launch of the Electronic Challan system on September 23. These 75,000 E-Challans have consequently added PKR 7 million to the national treasury so far.
