The year 2020 commenced with high anticipations. People all around the world anticipated positive outcomes from the new decade of the 21st century. Some assumed the new decade is going to alter the world and bring new scientific revolution in the world. We would most apparently have flying cars and time travel machines. Little did they know that 2020 would turn a comedy of the century for the whole world?
It all began in china when a criminal virus known as coronavirus, who was in prison for fierce charges, escapes the prison. The Chinese official did not let the world know that a lethal criminal of monstrous nature is out. The Chinese surprised the world by finally letting the world know three months later about the criminal virus. Three months? Some may ask were the Chinese in hurry. Well, the time they took to let the world know about it indicate so.
Consequently, one after another country of the world imposed lockdown in their country to check the virus from spreading. Some leaders were infuriated about China decision to keep the outbreak of Pandemic confidential. US President Donald Trump began calling coronavirus as Chinese virus. When a journalist asked as to why the President call Corona Virus as Chinese virus. His reply was simple, the virus looks like President Xi, the Chinese current President. He further added that if you zoom the virus under an electronic microscope the virus has small eyes which resemble Chinese.

Resultantly, the world all of a sudden saw to Chinese with suspicions. Every Chinese was seen not as a human but as a coronavirus. The moment he/she sneezes, the entire neighbourhood would run for safety. These superpowers encouraged one of the Chinese who single-handedly robbed a bank just by sneezing at the security guard. The security guard let him take everything. Guess what, he is a billionaire now.
The Chinese on the other hand called the virus as American virus. This was strange. When a journalist asked the Chinese official as to how was the virus American. They replied, “The dress coronavirus wears is made in the US and the hairstyle of coronavirus matches exactly Donald Trump.” To this news, Trump responded by saying these were fake news spread by Fox News agency.
Beside the tug of war between the two superpowers China and US, Trump administration faced severe criticism from the Democrats for not being able to control the virus. The Trump responded by saying,” well had Senate dispensed me the money for building a wall on Mexico border, there would be no virus. He further added that the wind from Mexico brings the virus into the US. He argues, had there been a wall on Mexico border, it could have stopped the virus from entering America and violating US sovereignty so frequently.
America also bans the tik tok app in the US. Donald Trump claims the tik tok app is being used by the Chinese to spy on him while he is in a toilet. Our sources told us that Chinese have recorded a huge amount of data which also include Donald Trump farts. This data can be used against Donald Trump in the upcoming November US Presidential election which could seriously damage Donald Trump reputation as Trump farts speak Russian.
It can be concluded that the year 2020 had not been so great for both China and the US. We can only hope that things in the future will improve and the year 2021 will not inflict us with the offspring of COVID 19.
