IIOJK, Ladakh excluded from Indian map on new Saudi Arabia banknote

The worldwide map published on the new 20 Riyal banknote, released to indicate Saudi Arabia's Presidency of the G20 group, does not comprise Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Ladakh within the Indian land.

In accordance with Arab News, the money view has been issued on October 24 and put in circulation the next day.

The banknote comes with an image of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz along with the G-20 Saudi summit logo on one side and a world-map emphasizing G-20 states in a darker colour on the opposite side.

As stated by Hindustan Times, India has lodged a demonstration to KSA against the published bank-note, advocating it to take urgent corrective measures'.

The G20 summit has been planned to be held from November 21 to 2-2 at Riyadh.
